More than other sciences, S.V.T. requires the observation and the collection of information on very complex natural systems, often out of reach.
The natural sciences have few universal rules. Hypotheses must be considered and evaluated in order to derive cycles and classifications.
To develop the ability to understand natural systems, to identify their characteristics and to apply the appropriate skills to them
To acquire the methodology of data collection on natural systems, which consists in searching for relevant information while avoiding bias and errors.
Learn to apply rigorous scientific reasoning; to formulate hypotheses and then corroborate or refute them.
Master the inductive and deductive restitution which allows to link different data to draw conclusions applicable to the resolution of a problem.
The first contacts are about general culture on subjects such as life, climate, ecosystems, planets etc…
Fun workshops that simplify concepts without trivializing them, encouraging reflection.
The symbolic and linguistic register, the tools, the context and the story told contribute to the formation of the scientific imagination in the child.
The courses are designed to deliver a maximum immersive experience in various universal subjects in order to solicit curiosity and create strong anchors.
The S.V.T. in college is about a very rich mix of natural concepts. The focus is on the cell, biodiversity, and nutrition and reproduction.
We also find the Earth, its composition as well as climatic and environmental aspects.
These themes form the scientific backbone of the natural world. They are part of the scientific and technical culture, and help tounderstand the evolution of professions and training.
The courses are accompanied by role-playing, experiments or simulations that open the way to advanced notions. Students also learn to make connections between concepts in their problem solving.
The high school program expands on the concepts seen in middle school: life and genetic information, health, energy, agriculture and geology.
Other more complex notions are on the menu; genetics, plate tectonics, plants, immunity or nervous communication.
The student must be able to present his or her knowledge in an organized manner , in particular by drawing diagrams.
We focus on fine-tuning skills away from luck-based tricks . Students learn to use patterns to answer a problem. We help them with ad ‘hoc tools and competent mentors.
After the Baccalaureate, the S.V.T. is divided into several disciplines including biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, paleontology, zoology etc..
At the undergraduate level, a large volume of concepts is taught, sometimes involving mathematical and physicochemical concepts.
From the master (MD) onwards, the subjects branch out even more according to the speciality (Biology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Agriculture etc…)
Group mentoring is not open for this level. Depending on the demand, we will open specific courses in the future (APESA, Medicine…). However, you have the possibility to request a course or to consult our professional training offer.
Group classes are not available for this level.
You can request a course customized to your needs.
